Success Story

“Therapy has given me the opportunity to walk again.”

Roxie Gossett arrived at Hillside Heights after undergoing digestive surgery, requiring total assistance for transfers and bed mobility. But Roxie was determined to regain her independence.

With relentless effort and the expert support of our dedicated therapy team, she made remarkable progress.

Today, Roxie confidently walks 40–50 feet using a rolling walker, moves in bed with minimal help, and needs only minimal assistance with daily activities. Her transformation is a testament to the power of perseverance and skilled care.

Roxie shared, “Therapy has given me the opportunity to walk again.” Her inspiring journey reminds us all that with the right mindset and support, recovery is possible.

We’re incredibly proud to celebrate Roxie’s success!
